Customer Rating: Summary: Just a review... Comment: I remember watching Sailor Moon on Toonami, and absolutely loving it. This is volume one of season 3 to the series. There are repetitive scenes used throughout this season, but if you love the concept/story of Sailor Moon, that shouldn't bother you. I do recommend this volume and the series, however if you are a hardcore anime fan (that is into unedited, uncut, original japanese version material) you may find this disappointing if you watch the Japanese versions as "key plots" have been altered in the english version to make it more friendly to younger audiences.
Customer Rating: Summary: CLASSIC! Best of all 5 seasons =) Comment: Sailor Moon is a great series and really introduced America to anime which i believe this series helped FUEL America's addiction to anime and no longer made anime an Asian centric only hobby. It always seemed for some odd reason when it came to anime someone knew an Asian best friend who had the whole series subtitled on VHS somewhere lol. After the final 13 episodes of the 2nd season finished airing on TV it seemed all hope was lost to ever see the final 3 remaining seasons hit the US shore. Lucky for the fans after a few years since Sailor Moon R (Season 2) finished airing on TV word went ram pit that the 3 Sailor Moon movies were coming to the US dubbed/sub along with the Super and SuperS series hitting US waters as well with individual volumes being released month after month back to back. During these releases a phenomenon was taking place. VHS was starting to fade away and DVD was taking control front and center at a slow pace but definitely an evolution was happening. Anyways i had seen the entire series of Super and SuperS way before the official US release but i saw only the subtitled version. Super (Season 3) was a great series and in my opinion the best out of all the 5 seasons. I was so looking forward to the dubbed version only to hear the change in the lead actress which ruined everything. Despite a few changes in the cast and the remaining Japanese soundtrack on the episodes it's still a good watch for any Sailor Moon fan. Luckily these DVDs come with both English and Japanese audio. Season 3 is not as beautifully animated as season 4 or 5 but great none the less. This set introduces us to the new villains of the season (A crazy professor), the professors daughter who has a secret, and the outer 4 remaining scouts finally appear, along with new powers and transformations. Check this season out, it is discontinued and heavily over priced but it's worth it for any SM fans. Such a shame that season 5 will never hit US shores.
Customer Rating: Summary: moon freak Comment: this is sooooooooooo boring. u will probly only watch this 5 times.if you r smart u will listen to me and not get u will not get this. the only gooooood episodes r 3,4,and 6.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sailor Moon S rocks!!! Comment: ...I am really tired of all you people complaining "Waaaaah, Uranus and Neptune are COU-SIIIIIIIIIIINS!!!" Honestly. They wanted to make this a show for kids... after all, in America adults/teenagers don't routinely watch cartoons, so they aimed it for kids, and had to water it down a little. Purists, just watch Japanese with subtitles! This is one of the best DVDs I've seen, lesbian characters or not!
Customer Rating: Summary: Careful! Comment: If you're thinking of buying the Geneon Signature Series Version of these heart collections, DON'T! Not unless you want to pay less and don't care about the PACKAGING. When I bought it, I figured the cover would have that ugly red logo on the front.....and it did. I didn't know that it wouldn't have a reversable cover! There's nothing on the back of it! Just blank. The CD itself doesn't have a beautiful picture of Usagi, like it's supposed to. Instead, it's all red with white letters. And instead of the correct insert flap with a picture of Usagi and Mamoru, there's an insert advertising other DVDs! I wouldn't have bought these if I knew of the horrible packaging. >_< I knew there was a catch!
So...unless you don't care how the DVD cover looks to you, you should buy this. But for those of you who know how beautiful the REVERSABLE cover, CD, and insert flap is supposed to be, please just buy the regular DVDs. Even if it is twice the cash.
The four stars are all for the show NOT the DVD.

High school entrance exams are approaching, and Serena and her friends Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina (Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako in Japanese) need to study--especially Serena, whose grades have never been good. But Serena is easily distracted. When Haruka appears on the scene, she and the other Scouts immediately fall for him--only to discover "he" is a girl who often dresses as a boy. Haruka is almost always seen with Michiru, but there's nothing to the relationship. Serena is also busy leading the Sailor Scouts into the battle. The evil Professor Tomoe and his assistant Kaorinite keep unleashing shape-shifting daimons to steal the crystalline hearts of the pure, which will enable them to rule the world. The Scouts and Tuxedo Moon need the help of Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus to defeat the evil doers. These powerful, aloof warriors are searching the world for three mysterious and potent talismans. The combined power of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Moon produces the redoubtable weapon, the "Spiral Heart Moon Rod." Many fans rank the Sailor Moon "S" season (the third), which comprises episodes 90 to 127, as the best in the series. More cynical viewers may notice that reused footage makes up about one-third of each episode. Edited versions of these episodes played on the Cartoon Network (and are available on VHS). These uncut episodes are rated 13 and older for violence and brief nudity. --Charles Solomon
