Summary: Kept Me in Suspence,GREAT MOVIE....
Comment: I'm Not gonna tell all the details of this movie but very Few Movies get me on edge of my seat,but this one did & I was left with a smile at the end of this one,plus if U can pick this movie up for what a penny I think U will enjoy it....

Comment: A very good Denzel Washington film, a little obscure but it is a mystery action thriller which had me wondering about the characters until the end. Dramatic, well acted and a good. Lots of backstabbing, lying and someone being set up. Or are they?

I really like the movie. The packaging is a different story. When I got the movie "Out of Time", the cover was damaged and the cd was not fixed secure in the package and was sliding around inside of the case.
I was not sure I could return it and get another due to the fact that I had opened it.

Summary: Effective simple thriller
Comment: A simple thriller in which a woman is used as a piece of bait to get some drug money from a gullible cop who believes he is in love with her. The final twist is not what we could have hoped, but it sure is convincing about the dumbness of cops or even men when they get infatuated with love. But the interest of the film is essentially in the hectic chase-escape of one cop after-from another cop who happens to be his-her wife-husband. One thing is sure: as soon as a woman appears within his eye-range he loses all rational common sense and starts seeing butterflies landing on his nose. But it is funny and entertaining.

Summary: An Entertaining Thriller
Comment: Denzel Washington gives his usual excellent performance as a Florida sheriff on the verge of divorce. In the meantime he has been having an affair with a married woman. He goes with her to a doctor's appointment and she is told that she has inoperable cancer and will die within a year. She is later told that she can go out the country for an expensive treatment that may give her several additional years. She tells Washington she can't possibly afford the treatment so she will just accept what fate has dealt her.
Washington decides to "give" her a large sum of "evidence" cash that nobody will miss so she can have the experimental treatment. Apparently, the case is over and nobody will look for the cash for a number of years.
Things go totally wrong for Washington after that as the wife and her husband are killed in a "suspicious" house fire of which a neighbor spotted Washington outside the house just before the fire started. Additionally, just prior to her death the woman was changing her life insurance beneficiary to Washington (giving him motive) and then the DEA all of a sudden demands the evidence money because it can be tied to another case. To top it off, Washington's estranged wife is leading the investigation into the two murders so he has to avoid her getting any sense that he might have been involved. To say any more about the movie would be a big spoiler but the movie is loaded with twists and turns.
I would have rated it higher but some of the things that happened seemed to have me shaking my head. There is Washington's friend who seems to know everything but still helps Washington even though he probably thinks he is guilty.
