Since watching it, I couldn't think of anything else. Very realistic portrayal; the poor living conditions; knowledgable about what happens. Val Kilmer completely transforms. He is a lot simpler at the end; wearing simpler clothes and driving a sdimpler car. He drives out of the reservation rather instead of flying as he did in the beginning. Why did the government send him to investigate the murder when they knew who did it? Them? The guy in the wheelchair and the Indian cop solved it for him. They killed Maggie and the first guy because they knew that the government was contaminating their lakes with uranium.
