Summary: Concert Good , Video Quality And Sound Poor
Comment: Sony.
Have don't again reissued a good concert In poor quality blu-ray , To make more money from fans , Expecting the great new High Def and sound , The original DVD Was far better and with the upscaling from the DVD It's better than from the Blu-ray , Compare that with the new ZZ-Top Concert What a difference.
From a disappointed AC/DC Fan.

Summary: Save Money and Buy the DVD Version
Comment: The music is outstanding, of course, and the video production and presentation are nice, too. However, the video quality was grainy and definitely not HD. Buy the DVD for a great show, but don't waste extra money for the Blu Ray.

Summary: Excellent concert but..............
Comment: Typical AC/DC at the best on the stage.Unfortunately video quality is terrible. This is not a blu-ray video you can expect.I was very much disappointed. If you have to buy it,do it just for the concert performance not for the video quaility.

Comment: I just received my copy of "AC/DC: No Bull (Director's Cut)" on Blu-ray this afternoon and have since been watching and enjoying it very much. I found the two bonus performances, "Cover You in Oil" from "Ballbreaker," filmed live in Sweden, and a favorite from the "Powerage" CD, "Down Payment Blues," filmed in Florida, really cool to watch. I guess what I don't understand is why this video isn't available new any longer. Much to my surprise, "Black Ice" the band's new disc, is also available only via individual sellers and not from the Amazon site itself. Whatever the reason, it can't be for lack of quality, at least as far as the DVD is concerned (as of this writing, I'm still waiting for "Black Ice" to make its appearance through my mail slot). I've loved the Madrid performance ever since I bought my VHS copy way back in '96. I still think it's a bit better than the Donnington video, released a few years earlier. It's more compact, for one thing. The "Jailbreak" portion of Donnington, where lead guitarist Angus Young does his striptease routine, gets really tedious after the first eight minutes. The "Boogie Man" section of this performance, wherein the obligatory striptease takes place, is much shorter and actually fun to watch. Young is a master showman, and he has the crowd in the palm of his pick hand throughout this show, particularly before he moons them. The band is very tight and obviously having quite a fine time (observe a rare grin from rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, Angus' elder sibling, during "Boogie Man"). This album and tour welcomed the return of drummer Phil Rudd, and I must confess, as much as I like Chris Slade's stickwork on "The Razors Edge" CD and the Donnington video, the drummer's stool in this band belongs to Rudd, and he contributes mightily to the overall power of the songs. Check out "Shot Down in Flames," "Thunderstruck," "Ballbreaker," and "Let There be Rock" (their perennial show closer) for killer ensemble performances from a band who, as Canadian rocker Bryan Adams put it, "thinks like one brain." As far as the visual quality of the DVD itself is concerned, I don't think veteran concert director David Mallet was necessarily trying to achieve a seamless, smooth look. He was trying to capture the excitement of an AC/DC concert through different camera angles and stage shots. He does a great job, in my opinion, as he did on the Donnington video. I still love this performance, and this Blu-ray edition definitely kicks it up a few notches.

Very much a follow up their 1991 concert masterpiece LIVE AT DONLINGTON, NO BULL was designed to capture the over-the-top spectacle that was the 1996 BALLBREAKER tour. The film has been completly re-edited by the director in HD and the audio remized in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound...for the ballbreaking experience it was always meant to be! Songs include: BACK IN BLACK, SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES, THUNDERSTRUCK, GIRLS GOT RHYTHM, HARD AS A ROCK, SHOOT TO THRILL, BOOGIE MAN, HAIL CAESAR, HELLS BELLS, DOG EAT DOG, THE JACK, BALLBREAKER, ROCK AND ROLL AIN'T NOISE POLLUTION, DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP, YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG, WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE, T.N.T., LET THERE BE ROCK, HIGHWAY TO HELL, FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK (WE SALUTE YOU).
