Summary: If you are a fan, its a 5 star rating.
Comment: If you are a fan of Gato Barbieri, this DVD would warrant a 5 star rating. While I am not a fan, I do like many of his compositions. However, on every CD I've ever purchased by Gato, I find myself really liking maybe only 2 or 3 compositions. Gato is a great sax player; he just wears me out sometimes. So did Grover for that matter. But, for what its worth, this DVD has reference quality audio and video. The box labels the audio as mono, but it actually contains Dolby Digital 2.0, 5.1 and DTS 5.1. If you like Gato, you'll love this one. Even if you are not a fan, I'd have to recommend this one for its audio and video quality alone. Also, its widescreen which is rare for DVD music videos.
