Comment: I saw this movie when it came out and it was great. As for the disc and all the extras, well, they just don't mean that much to me. I really don't care if there are extras, or if it is widescreen or standard. The movie is what matters and this is a can't miss movie.

Comment: The movie "All The President's Men" has lessons that pass the test of time. Have used the film as a teaching tool for journalism students and highly recommend it. Two young men faced all the adversities thrown at them from the highest office in the land, and brought truth into the spotlight. Above all else, they also brought down the president of the United States.

Comment: All the President's Men starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman is an interesting look at the Watergate scandal. I like this film because it is part of history and I think the facts are pretty accurate. The Deep Throat character is played by Jason Robards, his voice is like no other. Captivating movie, check it out sometime!

Comment: All the President's Men (Two-Disc Special Edition)
Another one of my Dad's favorite movies. He was in college during the Watergate Scandal and followed it thoroughly. I saw the movie from his collection. The EXCELLENT FILM is based on the story of two reporters for the Washington Post, Carl Bernstein(Dustin Hoffman) and Robert Woodward(Robert Redford), who stumbled across a potential lead for a story that snow-balled, to their continued horror, to the incrimination of and forced resignation of President, Richard Nixon. Fed by the mysterious "Deep Throat", Bernstein and Woodward put their own pieces together, sold two and a half million copies of the Post and won a Pulitzer Prize. The script by William Goldman and based on Bernstein's and Woodward's book, is COMPLETELY CREDIBLE as it deals with incredible events. The direction, by Alan J.Pakula is SHARP and UNRELENTING. The Acting really is a treat.

In the Watergate Building, lights go on and four burglars are caught in the act. That night triggered revelations that drive a U.S. President from office. Washington reporters Bob Woodward (Robert Redford) and Carl Bernstein (Dustin Hoffman) grabbed the story and stayed with it through doubts, denials and discouragement. All the President's Men is their story. Directed by Alan J. Pakula and based on the Woodward/Bernstein book, the film won four 1976 Academy Awards (Best Supporting Actor/Jason Robards, Adaptation Screenplay/William Goldman, Art Direction and Sound).
